Weddings are an art form at University Park Country Club. Our Banquet and Catering team has experience planning weddings of all description from the most elaborate to the simply casual. Our experience will be invaluable and our wedding coordination expertise is evident on your special day when all of the details are handled seamlessly and effortlessly. Our staff is also available to assist you in choosing vendors to provide additional services including flowers, music, transportation, linen and officiants

General Information

Do I have to be a country club member to have my wedding or related celebrations at University Park Country Club?

Membership is not required to host a private event at University Park Country Club including wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers and groomsmen golf outings.

What is the largest wedding that you can accommodate?

We can host up to 200 guests for a seated dinner and 150 guests for a dinner buffet or interactive food stations.

May we visit the Club?

We encourage personal consultations and tours and ask that you call our Banquet and Catering Manager at 941-355-3888 ext. 222 to make an appointment.

The Ceremony

Do you have a location to hold our wedding ceremony?

Wedding ceremonies are held on a grassy lawn with breathtaking views of the lake and golf course.

Is there a charge for holding a ceremony at University Park?

A ceremony fee is charged for the coordination of the rehearsal, day of the ceremony coordination and set-up of the ceremony site.

The Reception

Do you provide china, flatware, tables, chairs and linen for the reception?

White china, flatware, beautiful dining room chairs, white linen tablecloths, linen napkins, gold or silver chargers, votive candles and mirrors are included in the cost of your event. Specialty wedding linen can be arranged at an additional charge.

Can we customize our wedding menu?

If the wedding banquet menu selections do not suit your taste or budget, we are happy to customize your menu to meet your individual needs.

How much will our event cost?

The cost of each event varies depending on your food and beverage selections. A menu proposal with estimated charges will be provided after your personal consultation.

Professional Services

Can you make suggestions for a photographer, florist, wedding cake and entertainment?

University Park Country Club has a recommended list of vendors that we feel match our level of quality and commitment. We will be happy to provide this information during your wedding planning consultation.
